FAQ

Answers to common questions about GitHub sync, billing, image uploads, and support.

Does InstaSLA replace GitHub?

No. InstaSLA uses GitHub as the source for security alert metadata and adds ownership, SLA tracking, fix campaigns, notifications, reporting, evidence exports, and optional MCP access.

Does a successful sync always mean alerts exist?

No. GitHub may return zero current alerts for selected repositories. In that case, repository sync can be successful while alert counts remain zero.

Can I use InstaSLA before enabling paid billing?

Yes. The free plan is intended for small repository sets and workflow validation. Paid plans increase repository limits.

Can I upload screenshots to help articles?

The CMS supports cover image URLs. Optional Imgbb upload is enabled only when an Imgbb API key is configured; otherwise use externally hosted image URLs you are authorized to publish.

Who should I contact for support?

Use support@instasla.com for billing, account, security, or setup questions.
