Configure email reminders and escalation policies with delivery logs.

Create escalation policies

Escalation policies define who receives email, which severities or teams are included, and when reminders are sent. Start with due-soon and overdue notifications before adding more complex digests.

Use digest mode for busy teams

Digest mode reduces notification volume by grouping related work into one message. For critical overdue alerts, direct escalation may still be appropriate.

Review delivery logs

Notification delivery records show recipient, provider, status, timestamp, and errors. Use delivery logs to distinguish workflow issues from email provider or address problems.
